Suzanne Kramer and Linus
Linus began his life as a racing Greyhound in Caliente, Mexico. When
he no longer was a purse winner for his greedy owners, he was
slated for death. Greyhound Rescue stepped in and Linus found
a new home with Suzanne Kramer. Wanting to share their love,
they joined our Pet Assisted Therapy Program. Beloved by the
patients at Marlinda Imperial Convalescent Hospital, Suzanne
made sure that all her patients received photos of themselves
with Linus at Christmas, often a very gloomy and lonesome time
for hospital residents. Just before his untimely death, Linus
widened his own circle of caring when he served as the ring bearer
at Suzanne’s wedding. Actors and Others was very privileged
to have Linus as part of our Pet Therapy Program. He will be
greatly missed! |
