Randi Besse, Poppy and Selki
Poppy was living in the dirt backyard at a men’s recovery home
when Randi helped to rescue her and her litter mates. Selki was a
two-month-old Border Collie mix when Randi adopted her from a local
rescue group. The two dogs are the best of friends and have been
very busy Pet Assisted Therapy dogs for over three years. One day
a week they go with Randi to visit the patients at Sherman Oaks Hospital.
Later in the week, all three make the rounds at Tarzana Rehabilitation
Center. As you can well imagine, Randi, Poppy and Selki have made
many friends who can’t wait for their weekly visits. |
