 The Petco Foundation is celebrating 13 years of promoting and improving the welfare of companion animals through its work and support of local animal organizations across the country. This year it will be hosting its Fourth Annual Hope Gala on March 10, 2012 at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina.
Each year the Gala recognizes individuals or groups who share the Foundation’s mission to improve the quality of life for animals and people who love and need them. Our good friend, supporter and board member Betty White will be the second recipient of the Hope Award which honors a special individual for a lifetime of inspiring the human-animal bond. And all proceeds from the event with benefit Actors and Others for Animals! (The inaugural Hope Award was presented to Ellen DeGeneres with proceeds going to her Halo Foundation.)
So grab a date and plan on taking a weekend getaway to fun-filled San Diego and join us at the Fourth Annual Petco Foundation Gala.
